G to the Square

About

My name is Geries Handal and I’m a proud Honduran. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from UNITEC University, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Currently I’m in Stockholm, Sweden studying (a master in) ICT Entrepreneurship at KTH.

This is  my fourth blog and it has been so far, the best one, given that it has more substance and I have been more consistent.  The blog is mainly about ICT and Business, however once in a while I come with topics of other topics.I guess this is a result from a short attention span, which has its benefits and being challenge at the same time.

G to the Square, is kind of my little venture, even if I don’t make money of it and don’t have much syndicated readers, its evolving and growing (at least it has its own domain). Given that anybody can have a blog, it might be not such a big deal, but keeping up with it is the hard part, and i’m happy about it.

My interests are scuba diving, sports, traveling, movies, music, IT, blogging and Business. A love when to learn from life and people, therefore the best to do so, is to meat people and to travel. By doing this I came to a point where I believe the following:

I’m neither a Honduran nor a Swedish but a citizen of the world.

Its a paradox to be a proud Honduran and becoming a citizen of the world, however like Enrique Bumbury said in the song Latex:

all final, para un hombre de mundo… es muy exotico volver a casa

(Translation: at the end for a man of world, its very exotic to go back home.)

Regarding the entrepreneurship part, still haven’t launch a business. We tried but apparently it wasn’t the right time, nevertheless you can learn a lot, even if the rocket doesn’t even leaves the floor. In the meantime I’m looking for opportunities, learning and speaking my mind on the blog… in a square.
